Jo bhi kaho we’re all suckers for accolades & recognition. When you hear your name & your heart skips a beat & then it starts racing while walking up to the stage & then you receive the award & then- boom blank…. I think for a whole 5-7 seconds there was pin-drop silence at the venue because it was expected of me to speak; instead, I shared a quick moment admiring the award & feeling the “feeling”. Oh, I did speak after 5 seconds, lol. Thank you to The Kapil Sharma Show, the entire cast & crew.”

She further thanked everyone who were the reason behind the award, “It takes an army of people who have worked very hard over the last 10 years to make this show & its characters what it is today. Thank you for all the love & adulation that I receive from all over the world, across all age groups. I’m grateful for it all. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING; THE FIRST OF MANY TO COME. What is meant to be, will always find a way to you. Thank you, Universe.”
