  • Begin by downloading and opening the mAadhaar app.
  • Next, activate the QR Code Scanner. (each physical Aadhaar card includes a QR code)
  • Scan the QR Code displayed on the Aadhaar card.

Please be aware that the app will scan the QR code and present the biographic information of the Aadhaar holder, including their name, gender, date of birth, address, and photograph. These details are digitally signed by UIDAI and are verifiable.

Another option for verifying your Aadhaar digitally is to visit the UIDAI website and input your 12-digit Aadhaar number along with the captcha code.
