Lok Sabha Elections 2024: List of exam dates revised due to the polls

As the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is scheduled to take place in seven phases from April 19 to June 01. As a result of the elections, various recruitment and eligibility exams have been postponed.
Candidates with exams scheduled during this timeframe should expect changes to their exam schedules. Among the impacted examinations are the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 exam, MPPSC PCS State, Forest Service exam, NEET PG 2024 exam, SWAYAM January 2024 Semester exam, Rajasthan Class 5 timetable, and ICAI CA exam.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2024

The Union Public Service Commission has revised the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 schedule originally slated for May 26, 2024.According to the commission’s notification, the UPSC CSE prelims exam 2024 has been postponed to June 16. This adjustment in the exam timetable was prompted by the Election Commission’s announcement on Saturday concerning the schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to occur between April 19 and June 1, 2024.

MPPSC PCS State, Forest Services Exam

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has rescheduled both the State Services Preliminary examination and the MP Forest Services exam 2024. As per the notice posted on the official website, these exams will now take place on June 23 instead of the initially scheduled date of April 28, 2024.

NEET PG 2024 Exam

Following the updated timetable, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (Postgraduate) is rescheduled for June 23 instead of July 7. Results are expected to be announced by July 15, with the counseling process scheduled from August 5 to October 15. The eligibility cutoff date for NEET PG 2024 is set for August 15, 2024.

SWAYAM January 2024 Semester Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the SWAYAM January 2024 semester exams originally scheduled for May 25. This decision was made in consideration of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, which are scheduled to take place between April 19 and June 1, 2024. As per the updated timetable, the exam will now take place on May 27.

ICAI CA May Exam 2024 Rescheduled

The exam dates for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) intermediate course have been updated. Group 1 examinations will now take place on May 3rd, 5th, and 9th, whereas Group 2 exams are scheduled for May 11th, 15th, and 17th.
