AP DSC Teacher Recruitment 2024: The Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) has released a notification for multiple teaching positions in the state. With 6100 vacancies up for grabs, candidates can apply through the official website at apdsc.apcfss.in. Positions include School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Principals, Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, and Physical Directors across various educational institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
Important Dates and Exam Schedule
Application Deadline
• February 22, 2024: For School Assistants and Secondary Grade Teachers
• February 21, 2024: For Principals, Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, and Physical Directors.
Exam Dates: March 15, 2024, to March 30, 2024.
Exam Sessions: For School Assistants and Secondary Grade Teachers
• Two sessions per day: 9:30 A.M to 12:00 Noon and 02:30 P.M to 05:00 P.M.
For Principals and Post Graduate Teachers:
• Two sessions per day: 9:30 A.M to 11:00 A.M and 02:00 P.M to 05:00 P.M.
• Duration: The duration of the examination varies from 2 ½ hours to 3 hours, depending on the post applied for.

Application fee
Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs.750/- for each post separately through the Payment Gateway.
Recruitment Process
• The recruitment process will consist of a Computer-Based Written Test and other criteria stipulated by the Government.
• The selection process will be based on merit cum roster system as per the existing provisions adopted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Paper-I English Language Proficiency Examinations will be conducted for Principals, Post Graduate Teachers (Non-Languages), and Trained Graduate Teachers (Non-Languages).
• For Principals, the total marks allotted for the Written Test (TRT) will be 100.
• For Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), the total marks for the Written Test (TRT) will be 100.
• For Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), the total marks allocated will be 100, with 80 marks dedicated to the Written Test (TRT) and the remaining 20 marks for APTET/CTET (20%) weightage.
• For the Physical Director (PD) position, the total marks for the written test will be 100.
