Taking a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s “Nyay Yatra”, BJP on Wednesday said the opposition party and its “INDI Alliance” can divide and not unite and their divisive agenda can’t do justice with the country.
“How will those who have always been dividing the country in the name of region and caste provide justice? How will they provide justice when they couldn’t give justice to anti-Sikh riots of 1984?” asked Union minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur at a press conference.
Thakur said it is the Modi government which set up an SIT to probe the anti-Sikh riots. “Congress is the party which calls Lord Ram imaginary. Their alliance partners always try to degrade Sanatan Dharma. On the other hand, the Modi government has only one goal—the development of the country and welfare of the poor. New dimensions of good governance have been established under the leadership of Modi,” the minister said.He said the “Indi-Alliance” including Congress are parties that divide, not unite. “Instead of learning from the crushing defeat in the recent assembly elections and rejection by the public, the opposition is blaming EVMs, diverting attention and doing politics of division in the name of caste and region. Today the country is progressing rapidly. We are the fifth largest economy in the world and will soon become the third largest economy. These people want to divert attention from this development journey of the country. But they do not know that 140 crore Indians are standing with Modi ji,” Thakur said.
“PM Modi is synonymous with justice”, Thakur said.
